At the Arcor VZW workshop for disabled people in the town of Ronse, Belgium, Oskomera has installed a 291 kWp roof top PV system. The system consists out of 1,530 pieces of high efficient Suntech Power 190 Wp modules with poly crystalline silicon solar cells. The module are mounted on the roof via Oskomera’s LIGHTBOX® aluminum mounting system. This system makes it possible to reduce the amount of ballast to a minimum whilst there is no need for roofing penetration. The modules are connected to the electricity grid via a SMA Sunny Mini Central inverter configuration. These inverters convert the generated DC power into AC power, suitable for direct feed into the grid. The system is also equipped with a high end monitoring system, based on a data logger, irradiation sensor, various temperature sensors and a direct internet connection. This enables the Oskomera Service Desk to provide a continuous system monitoring. The project has been realized in close co-operation with Dexia Lease and ENECO.
