Han van Zwieten Architects has designed a new simulation centre for the training of the engineers of the Dutch Railroads. The futuristic design of the building compromises a canopy with integrated semi-transparent solar panels. The solar panels create a pleasant diffuse irradiation of light into the building together with the generation of green electricity. Oskomera was responsible for the engineering, delivery and installation of the solar electric system.
